The Old Log Church Museum has a number of archival resources which can be accessed by the public including copies of archival photos related to the Anglican Church and its activities in the Yukon, a reference library, and copies of Northern Lights, the newsletter of the Diocese of the Yukon.

Lesson Plans

Based on the new Yukon curriculum and approved by Yukon Education, these free lesson plans are available for download under a Creative Commons licence. Additional resources are available. Call or email the OLCM for more information.

Suitable for K to Grade 9, Arts Education and English Language Arts. Additional resources include instructions for a DIY smartphone projector, reproductions of black-and-white lantern slides in the museum’s collection, and hand-tinted photographs used in Bishop Stringer’s magic lantern lectures. The OLCM is happy to arrange a loan of a class set of The Bishop Who Ate His Boots by Frank Peake.

Suitable for K to Grade 9, Arts Education (Music). The OLCM is happy to arrange a loan of a reproduction concertina.
